Merry Christmas !!!

I hope that you spent a really nice time with your loved ones. I did . I had so much food that I think that I had enough  for one week !  I’ve been sleeping almost all day and passed out on the couch this afternoon then I watched « Fred Claus »  while sipping hot tea and eating iced red velvet cookies. Best Christmas afternoon ever !  My dad arrived on Sunday and stays for two weeks. I’m not supposed to work again until december the 31st so I plan on spending the week at my parents to enjoy some quality times with the family.

I did a Christmas Red Velvet  Sweet Table, just for fun and all vegan by the way because I brought  some to work and I wanted all my collegues to be able to eat them.  The funny thing is that I first planned that table without thinking about who would eat all this stuff and finally  my brother decided to throw a surprise birthday party for one of his friend , I brought some to work and we ate what was left today. Let me tell you that it was really good. I « veganised » my red velvet recipe and tried a vegan cream cheese frosting with Tofutti for the first time (Tofu “Cream Cheese”). It was truly delicious. I baked :

-       Red Velvet Cake and Cupcakes

-       Red Velvet Cinnamon rolls

-       Red Velvet Iced Cookies.

-       Red Velvet Cake pops made with leftovers cake and frosting.

It was also the opportunity of using my Birthday /Christmas gift from me to me : My Brand New Kitchenaid mixer. It works like a dream and I am so happy to finally owned  one !

Joyeux Noel !!!

J’espère que vous avez tous passé de très bons moments entourés de ceux que vous aimez. Ce fut mon cas.  J’ai tellement mangé que je pense que j’ai assez mangé pour toute la semaine. J’ai somnolé presque toute la  journée et je me suis écroulée sur le canapé cet après midi. Puis j’ai regardé « Frère Noël » en buvant du thé et en mangeant des shortbreads « Red Velvet ». Bref une après midi de Noël somme toute parfaite ! Mon papa est arrivé dimanche et il reste avec nous deux semaines. Ne travaillant pas jusqu ‘au 31 décembre j’ai prévu de passer toute la semaine chez mes parents pour profiter de ma famille au maximum !

J’ai réalisé une Sweet Table « Red Velvet » de Noël, juste comme ça et totalement vegan parce que je voulais en ramener au travail et que toutes mes collègues puissent en manger ! J’avoue avoir planifié cette table sans même penser à qui allait manger tout ça ! Finalement mon frère a décidé d’organiser un anniversaire surprise pour une de ses amies, ce qui tombait super bien, j’en ai amené au travail et  on a fini ce qu’il restait aujourd’hui ! C’était délicieux !  J’ai « véganisé »  ma recette de Cupcakes Red Velvet et j’ai essayé pour la première un glaçage au fromage frais « Vegan ». J’ai acheté du Tofutti, du fromage frais au tofu. Très bon.  J’ai fait :

-       Gâteaux et Cupcakes Red Velvet

-       Cinnamon Rolls Red Velvet

-       Shortbread Red Velvet Glacés

-       Cake Pops Red Velvet fait avec les « restes » de gâteau et glaçage.

C’était également l’opportunité de réellement « inaugurer » mon cadeau de Noël / Anniversaire de moi à moi : Un Kitchenaid tout neuf ! Il marche à merveille et je suis vraiment ravie d’avoir enfin pu m’en offrir un !
